Seven teams walk in, only one wins. May 13th marked the last day for seniors and the start of the annual powder puff competition. Each team that competed consisted of 16 girls and 5 boy coaches. The teams that competed included: Baby Got Quarterback, Goats, Victourious Secret, Nun Shall Pass, D3 Bound, Half Time Honeys, and Sweets and Cleats.

When asked about how she felt going into their first game, Senior Carolina Magdessian from the team, Baby Got Quarterback said, “We’re going to make them taste the turf.” Baby Got Quarterback made it to the first round but ended up losing to the Goats.

“Being a coach was a lot of fun because everyone on the team was fun to practice with since we’re all buds,” said senior Ethan Crowley, manager of Nun Shall Pass, “We were a pretty solid team, we had some solid athletes.” Nun Shall Pass was able to make it all the way to the championship game, only to lose to the Goats.

At the end of the highly-anticipated games, the Goats ended up taking home the big win of the day and the 2016 Powder Puff Champion Title.
