Over the 2016 winter break, Anderson Parker (a former Chaparral Wolverine) passed away due to health complications. The unified program was donated shirts from Westerra Credit Union. Unified Soccer coach Lori Pace said, “With the recent loss of Anderson we decided to resell these shirts we were given in tribute of Anderson and give the money we raise to a music therapy program for all kids in the community to benefit from.” The fundraiser went from the 11th of January to the 12th of January. Even though they are not selling shirts at lunches, the special education teachers can be contacted if someone is interested in donating. “ We are hoping the money we raise will help kids have easy access to music therapy while in the hospital or any other health facility,” said Pace. Please contact Lori Pace at email@example.com if interested in donating money or buying a shirt for five dollars to help fund music therapy in honor of Parker.
